Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information Lunaria Labs collects when you use trylunaria.com, what we do with it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. What happens to your answers in the test is in section II, how to opt out is in section IX, and cookies have their own Cookie Policy.
I. INTRODUCTION
Lunaria Labs (“Lunaria”, “we”, “us”) runs the website at trylunaria.com (the “Site”). This policy applies to information collected through the Site, wherever you are when you use it. The annex at the end adds a notice for residents of U.S. states with their own privacy laws.
Personal data means information relating to you as a person who can be identified directly or indirectly. For the purposes of the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation, Lunaria Labs is the controller of your personal data.
II. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Your answers to the test. When you take the test we store your answers to its questions, along with a randomly generated session identifier.
Your name, your ex's name and your date, time and place of birth stay in your browser for the length of your visit. We record only whether each was given, never what it was.
Your email address. If you submit your email address, we store it together with a hashed, irreversible copy of it, to create your account and to link your reading and anything you buy to it.
Messages to us. If you write to us, we keep your message, your email address and anything you attach, in order to answer you.
Information collected automatically. When you use the Site we record the pages you open and the actions you take on them, with the time; the page that referred you; the campaign parameters in the link you arrived through, such as the campaign, ad set and ad; your device category and your browser's user agent; the identifiers held in Meta's advertising cookies; and random identifiers for your visit and your browser.
Your IP address is used to protect the Site from abuse and is passed to Meta with the events we report to it (section IV). We do not store it in our database.
To suggest your place of birth we read the city our hosting provider places your connection in. It is shown to you and not stored.
Payment information. Lunaria does not collect card numbers, expiry dates, security codes, or billing addresses. No payment is processed through this site.
III. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
(a) To provide the Site and your reading: preparing your reading from your answers, creating your account and showing you the offer that fits your answers. Legal basis: performance of our contract with you.
(b) To understand and improve the Site: seeing which screens work, finding faults and keeping the Site running. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running and improving the Site.
(c) To measure our advertising: telling Meta which visits and actions came from its ads, so that we can see which campaigns work. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in measuring our advertising.
(d) To communicate with you: answering your messages and sending you your reading and related updates. You can unsubscribe at any time. Legal basis: performance of our contract with you and our legitimate interest.
(e) To prevent fraud and abuse and to comply with the law. Legal basis: our legitimate interest and our legal obligations.
If we start using your information for a purpose not listed here, we will update this policy first.
IV. SHARING OF YOUR INFORMATION
We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share it with the service providers that run parts of the Site for us, each receiving only what its service needs:
Our hosting provider serves the Site and processes the technical information every visit sends, including your IP address.
Supabase, Inc. (United States) stores the database that holds your answers, your email address and the record of your visit. Privacy policy: supabase.com/privacy.
Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. and Meta Platforms, Inc. measure our advertising. Through the Meta Pixel in your browser and the Conversions API from our server, Meta receives the events of your visit — such as opening a page, finishing the test, entering your email or tapping a payment button, with the plan's price — together with the page address, the identifiers in its cookies, your IP address and user agent, the hashed copy of your email address, and hashed identifiers we assign to your visit. Meta uses them to measure and improve our ads and, under its own terms, to show you ads. Privacy policy: facebook.com/privacy/policy.
We do not share your raw email address or your answers with advertisers.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it; where we believe in good faith that it is needed to protect our rights, your safety or the safety of others, or to investigate fraud; and to a successor if our business is reorganised, merged or sold, in which case we will tell you.
V. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS
Our service providers may process your information outside the country where you live, including in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from yours. Where the law requires it, these transfers rely on safeguards such as the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, which our providers include in their data processing terms.
VI. HOW WE STORE YOUR DATA
Your information is stored in our database at Supabase and on our hosting provider's servers. Connections to the Site are encrypted, and access to the database is limited to the people who need it to run the Site.
VII. HOW LONG WE KEEP YOUR DATA
We keep your answers and the record of your visits for as long as we need them to run and improve the Site, and your email address until you ask us to delete it or we no longer need it. Some information may be kept longer where the law requires it, or to prevent fraud and abuse.
What the Site keeps in your browser's session storage is cleared when you close the tab. A random identifier for your browser stays in its local storage until you clear the Site's data, and the details of the link you arrived through for up to 30 days. Cookies are described in our Cookie Policy.
VIII. YOUR RIGHTS
Depending on where you live, you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you and receive a copy of it in a portable format; to have it corrected; to have it deleted; and to restrict or object to how we use it, including for measuring our advertising.
To use any of these rights, or to ask us to delete your data at any time, write to support@trylunaria.com from the email address you gave us. We may need to confirm that the request is yours, and we will confirm once it is done.
You also have the right to complain to the data protection authority of the country where you live or work.
IX. HOW TO OPT OUT
Cookies and browser storage. You can block or delete cookies and clear the Site's data in your browser settings, as our Cookie Policy explains. The Site keeps working without advertising cookies.
Advertising by Meta. You can control how Meta uses your activity to show you ads in the ad preferences of your Facebook or Instagram account.
Industry tools. You can opt out of interest-based advertising from participating companies through the Digital Advertising Alliance, the European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance and the Network Advertising Initiative.
Emails. You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time with the link in each one, or by writing to us. We may still send messages you need about your account or a purchase.
X. SECURITY
We protect your information with technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk, including encryption in transit and restricted access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects your personal data, we will tell you where the law requires it.
XI. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
The Site is not meant for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has given us information, write to support@trylunaria.com and we will delete it.
XII. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this policy. The current version is always on this page, with the date it last changed at the top. If a change is significant, we will also tell you by email or on the Site where we can.
XIII. HOW TO CONTACT US
Questions about this policy or your data: support@trylunaria.com.

ANNEX. NOTICE FOR U.S. RESIDENTS
This notice adds to the policy above for residents of U.S. states with comprehensive privacy laws, such as California, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas and Virginia. The categories of personal information we collect and why are in sections II and III, and who receives it is in section IV.
We do not sell personal information for money. Letting Meta receive information from the Site to measure our advertising may count as “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising, or as targeted advertising, under some of these laws. You can opt out of it as section IX describes, or by writing to us.
You can ask to know, access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to receive it in a portable format, by writing to support@trylunaria.com with the state you live in. We will verify the request and answer within 45 days, or tell you if we need longer. If we decline it, you can appeal by replying to our answer, and we will respond within the time your state's law allows.
We will not treat you differently for using any of these rights.
